Open Heart Poetry
Multidisciplinary Project
Open Heart Poetry is a hybrid film experience that blends spoken word, documentary storytelling, and visual art. Each piece is brought to life through movement, imagery, and layered storytelling that extends beyond the screen.
Visual Album
This visual album transforms poetry into a cinematic experience. Through a combination of performance, real-life reflection, and artistic visuals, the film explores the tension between who we are, who we’ve been, and who we’re becoming.
Documentary Layer
Alongside the visual album, the documentary component offers a deeper look into the creative process and the heart behind the poems. Together, the two forms create a fuller portrait of artistry, healing, spiritual reflection, and personal testimony.

Poetically Janae - Album Artist
Janae is a Spoken Word Artist who paints her life with poetry. She’s been writing poetry since childhood. The poetry that flowed from her with ease helped her to see her calling as a writer at an early age. She also began to frequent an open mic event called Life Through Art. Through networking and practicing live poetry in this space, she began to get invitations to perform in other venues as a featured artist.
She released her first EP in September 2022, titled Open Heart Poetry. The 6 poem selection is vulnerable, imaginative, and melodic, and explores topics of identity, self-worth, and mental health.

JTracks - Album Producer
For gospel hip-hop artist, songwriter, and producer Jtracks, it was love at first sound. Raised in the Oak Cliff area of Dallas, Texas, he found his voice early—freestyling in classrooms and harmonizing to church hymns.
Internships with Powerhouse Records and Highland Hills Records and college studies in audio engineering shaped his path, but a divine encounter during an ASCAP event shifted his focus from fame to faith.
Now, as founder of Jtracks House, he creates music that glorifies God while mentoring emerging artists and leading arts-based workshops and other initiatives that heal and empower urban communities.

Grace Kelly - Film Director
Grace is a filmmaker from Indiana. She fell in love with the art of storytelling as a young girl and has developed a passion for the power of storytelling to break barriers and penetrate people's emotions.
As a creative, she hates being placed into a box. The statement, “a jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one” captures her as a filmmaker. She pushes herself to know about every aspect of film so that she can influence every part.
Stay Connected
Open Heart Poetry draws from Poetically Janae’s six-poem EP and expands it into a cinematic experience where each piece becomes a visual world audiences can enter, feel, and carry with them.
